PBS INDIA specialises in the production of small turbojet engines. The production of turbojet engines is an important and major category in the field of aircraft engines. The main advantage of PBS India’s turbojet engines is the ratio of their weight to power thrust. Because of this, these engines are particularly suitable for use in the military industry and they are popular in the experimental sector. In recent times, with the increase in the use of unmanned aircraft, turbojet engines are often fitted to this type of aircraft, particularly in the military industry. In this category, PBS has designed, developed, produced and launched onto the market a number of smaller turbojet-type engines. More than 1,000 PBS produced turbojet engines power unmanned systems, drones, powered gliders and experimental aircraft worldwide. Today, the turbojet engine PBS TJ100 belongs to the 4th generation of this type of engine and PBS INDIA supplies the complete range of these engines throughout India.

AI-PBS-350

AI-PBS-350 a joint project between Ivchenko-Progress SE and PBS, is the latest engine in its thrust class. It is specifically optimised for use in single mission UAV systems. It is a compact engine with a four-stage axial compressor and a single-stage axial turbine.

PBS TJ200

PBS TJ200 turbojet engine has been developed for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV & UCAV) and defence applications. With a thrust of up to 2,280 N, it will be the most powerful engine of the PBS jet engine portfolio.

PBS TJ150

PBS TJ150 jet engine was developed for unmanned aircraft vehicles (UAV’s), training targets and missiles. Its advantage is its compact design light weight coupled with its power thrust of up to 1,500 N, and its low fuel consumption. The generator output is 750 W. In addition, a version of the PBS’s TJ150 engine is capable of landing on water. The PBS TJ150 engine is a single-shaft jet engine comprising   a radial compressor, radial and axial diffuser, annular combustion chamber, axial turbine and a fixed outlet nozzle.

PBS TJ100P

PBS TJ100P is he versatile PBS TJ100 has a fuel-lubricated engine version of signification PBS TJ100P. It has a lower weight and is used in target drones and various UAVs, which demands high-speed performance.

PBS TJ100

PBS TJ100 is a 4th-GENERATION turbojet engine, which is ideal for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV) and is particularly suitable for a wide range of uses such as the rescue services, the police, the military (for reconnaissance purposes) and also for other assignments and missions within military applications. These engines are also ideal for gliders and light sport and experimental airplanes. The PBS TJ100 engine has a compact design and has an excellent power-to-weight ratio of up to 292 lbf (1,250 N) with low fuel consumption for its output category. This engine is also capable of landing on water.

PBS TJ80

PBS TJ80 is a jet engine designed for  UAVs and other unmanned systems. Its advantage is its low weight of 12.5 kg including accessories, and thrust of 900 N .The PBS TJ80 jet engine is a single-shaft jet engine with a one-stage radial compressor, radial and axial diffuser, annular combustion chamber, one-stage axial turbine and outlet nozzle. The output of the generator is 750 W.

PBS TJ80M

PBS TJ80M is a compact turbojet engine that has been designed for unmanned aerial vehicles (UAV’s). This considerably modified engine builds on its predecessor PBS TJ80 with all its features and improved key attributes.  It offers the best thrust to diameter ratio in its category. We significantly increased the thrust from 202 lbf to 269.7 lbf and kept the original outside diameter (9.25 in).

PBS TJ40-G1

PBS TJ40-G1 is a turbojet engine designed for Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAV’s) systems, such as target drones and decoy drones, in order to confuse enemy air defenses and small reconnaissance drones. It has the advantage of having a low weight of only 7.16 lb. (3.25 kg) and a power thrust of 88.8 lbf (395 N).

PBS TJ40-G1NS

PBS TJ40 G-1NS is built with a compact ‘Plug & Play’ design, making it the optimal engine for UAVs, target drones, and other small unmanned aircraft.

PBS TJ40-G2

PBS TJ40-G2 is a turbojet engine, which was designed and manufactured for UAV systems, such as target drones and decoy drones, (decoy drones are used to confuse enemy air defenses) and small reconnaissance drones. Its main advantages are its light weight of 3.8 kg and its power thrust of 395 N. This turbojet engine is a single-shaft turbine jet engine with a one-stage radial compressor, radial and axial diffuser, annular combustion chamber, one-stage axial turbine and outlet nozzle. The generator output is 200 W, and with an external converter there is an additional 900 W.
