The Auxiliary Power Unit PBS APU SPARK40 is used for starting the main engines using air pressure. It provides an independent source of electric power for the onboard systems and an air source for the air-conditioning system. This APU also offers the possibility of a number of additional   applications. It also features a dual speed sensor, an exhaust gas temperature sensor, oil and fuel gauges and warning sensors which highlight, filter contamination and low oil levels. Additional features include a number of instruments/gauges which show the APU’s parameters and digital signals from the control box RS422 serial interface, along with operation parameters and failures.
