The PBS TS100 is a turboshaft engine, which emerged with the development of modern helicopters. The engine is ideal for smaller and lighter helicopters or for unmanned aerial vehicles and is particularly suitable for use by the rescue services, the police, the military (for reconnaissance purposes) and in agriculture. The main advantages of the engine lie in its compact  dimensions, ensuring it takes up very little space on the aircraft, its light weight and high static performance at 241 HP (180 kW) and its capacity to achieve flight levels of up to 29,500 ft. (9,000 m) and a maximum starting height of 19,700 ft. (6,000 m).
