The Auxiliary Power Unit Safir 5K/G-MIS has been designed for the purpose of starting the main engines using compressed air and it provides an independent source of electric power and an air source for air conditioning systems. The Safir 5K/G-MIS Auxiliary Power Unit is designed to allow the supply of air used for starting the main engines, to be used in the air conditioning systems and to drive the DC starter-generator.

  • TBO 1,500 hours.
  • Starts and operates at altitudes up 19,700 ft (6,000 m).
  • Digital signal from control box through the RS 422 serial interface.
  • Unlimited number of air take-offs for starting engines.
  • Provides6 hours of continuous operation.
